This is a more traditional classroom in which students are engaged in conversation with their peers, while the teacher works to increase their vocabulary. The Language Arts classroom includes a variety of writing tools and props to enhance the student\u2019s writing ability, introduces a variety of reading methods such as Phonics and Whole Language, and exposes children to a print-rich environment. Number recognition, counting, skip-counting, and emergent adding, subtracting, sorting and grouping are foundational math skills found throughout the curriculum of this classroom. Students are able to explore the world around them through real-life experience. Trinity houses many exotic animals and students are able to touch, observe, and learn about the various habitats in which they live. Our teachers use our campus to help engage students in learning about the world around us.<\/p>\n<p>Students also explore the Scientific method through many observations. They learn to draw conclusions and collect data based on the things that they begin to observe.
